Pick up your car rental at Dublin Airport. Depending on your flight times we suggest you explore the city with iconic places such as Trinity College and St Patrick's Cathedral. In the evening, go to a pub in the Temple Bar district to enjoy a pint of Guinness. Free lunch and free dinner. Night in County Dublin.
Head north to Belfast to start your Game Of Thrones tour. Take the time to visit the Seensons Workshops, the master craftsmen behind some of the show's gems. Visit the Game of Thrones studios and go behind the scenes of the famous series. Don't miss the visit to the docklands: on one side the filming studios and on the other the Titanic Museum on the history of the ship. In the evening, head to the Cathedral Quarter to admire the murals and enjoy the atmosphere of the pubs. Free lunch and dinner. Night in County Antrim
Today you head south to explore County Down. You will see several filming sites: Tollymore Forest (Haunted Forest) with the pursuit of the white walkers, the discovery of the wolf cubs in season 1 as well as Tyrion and John's camp on the way to the Wall. Then go to Castle Ward which served as the setting for Winterfell, continue your exploration of the place to Audley where we find Robb Conflans' military camp. Finally go to Inch Abbey, the ruins of this Gothic abbey are visible when Rob's army crosses the Trident River. Free lunch and dinner. Night in County Antrim/ Belfast.
This day will be long and rich in discovery with a first stop in the Valley of Shillanavogy, the land of the Dothrakis. Then go up the coast to go to the Cave of Cushendun: the Red Lady gave birth to the Shadow there. From Murlough Bay: one of the most beautiful bays in the region where Theon Greyjoy and Yara rode on horseback to go to Pyke. The charming little port of Ballintoy, the village of Larrybane and Murlough are seen as the islands of Pyke and Iron. The village of Ballycastle seen partly used as a background landscape for the Free Cities where Varys was born. Free lunch and free dinner. Night in the north of County Antrim/Londonderry.
To avoid the crowds, go early enough to Dark Hedges near Armoy. This site was popular even before it appeared in the series, you can see the trees when King Landing arrives. Then go to the famous Giant's Causeway, a unique geological area in Ireland that offers a beautiful loop around the cliffs. Also take a moment to admire Dunluce Castle, which greatly inspired the series to build Greyjoy Castle. This morning head to Mussenden Temple and Downhill Strand beach; remember the scene where the seven vials of Westeros burned? This scene was filmed here, which goes well with the bathers! Head to the historic city of Derry to explore the ramparts. In recent years the city has been restoring its image with the series "Derry Girl". As you leave the city take a moment to visit Grianan of Aileach; the fort dating back several centuries gives you a breathtaking view of the Inishowen Peninsula. Finally end the day in Donegal Bay, if you are lucky you might see seals! Free lunch and dinner. Night in County Donegal / Sligo.
Head south and stop at Mullaghmore Beach. Guarded by a dune system, you will have a unique view of the Ben Bulben mountain. Take the time to explore the town of Sligo with its shops and its abbey. Visit WB’s Coffee House for a unique experience in the region: the owner Aisling invites you to taste Sligo Bay oysters that her husband collects every day from the oyster farms in the region. A long drive then awaits you to return to the Dublin region. Free lunch and free dinner. Night in County Dublin.
